Meet Summer! Summer Rae Wenzel is a 28 year old St. Petersburg native who has been a part of Brophy Real Estate since childhood, being the granddaughter of founder Mary Brophy and daughter of top agent Tammy Brophy Wenzel. Summer grew up attending St. Raphael’s Catholic school and church in Shore Acres, an iconic and historic St. Petersburg neighborhood. Summer grew up in a big family, being one of six kids in a home with two loving parents and grandmother always close by. After graduating from Osceola High School, Summer being the free spirit she is, moved down to the Florida Keys, a place she had only visited once before. Not a surprising choice as Summer has always loved being on the beach, in the sunshine and in nature. Living in Key West, Summer found the start to what is now a 10+ year career in the hospitality world, which she still does part time. She worked in many different capacities, including bartending, catering, special events and weddings.
